Drawing/Painting/Decision making

1. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
2. The drawing in of breath; inhalation.

Part one:
Choose an image from a magazine or photo album. Consider your choice as an indicator of how you may be feeling in this present moment. What emotions do you associate with the image? What attracted you to the image? How did the color, form, composition, objects or people in the picture determine your choice? Does it inspire you to create a piece of artwork? Often our creative choices are unconscious.

What is the difference between conscious and unconscious thinking?
The conscious mind contains all the thoughts, feelings, cognitions, and memories we acknowledge, while the unconscious consists of deeper mental processes not readily available to the conscious mind. Much learning, especially recognition of complex patterns, takes place outside of conscious awareness. —Psychology Today

Part two:
Using the medium of your choice, paint, markers, collage, work from the image you selected.

What can you do to inspire yourself? The process of finding inspiration embodies all aspects of life, hope, and recovery.
