What emotions are associated with wind?
Energetic and Refreshed: Some people may feel invigorated and energized by windy weather. The cool breeze and movement in the air can create a sense of vitality and freshness, lifting their spirits.

Some research has found that wind direction influences anxiety and energy levels with warm, inland wind lowering energy levels and increasing anxiety.

Much like seasonal depression, high winds can have a lasting impact on your mood. During windy weather, air becomes laden with positively charged ions, which is not a plus, as they can adversely affect our mental and emotional well-being.

Art Activity: Celebrate wind and wellness by creating windchimes out of repurposed bamboo, string, and metal. Let each strand of bamboo represent one of the four pillars of mental health: health, home, purpose, and community.
